Had their breakfast chilaquiles, and they were very good. The other day I bought a caldo de res, and to be honest it was the best caldo I’ve had around town. Highly recommend this place!
Food was great! Orange salsa with chips was different but very good. Do NOT add salt to the barbacoa before tasting it, it’s very well seasoned.
We always have delicious food here! I’ve never had anything I didn’t like. The torta is my favorite but today I got the gordita plate and it was delicious as well. My boyfriend got the barbacoa which was also really good! The charro beans were perfect with just a little bit of heat and the rice is always amazing. We were originally going to order and pick up but couldn’t find an updated menu online. We decided to just dine in so I added some photos of their current menu to my review.
We are traveling thru from Galveston and I’m a picky one and I ordered 1 taco BUT I ended up ordering another one! Very clean & professional! Highly recommended!!
Fantastic traditional Mexican food. The pastor and barbacoa super flavorful. The aguas frescas paired well with all the food and the staff was super nice. When we arrived almost every table was full but the staff was attentive and had great service. I think they have 5 salsas to try was well. This place is worth trying.
First time hearing and trying this place, truly lives up to the name this place reminds you of abuelas home cooking. The hamburguesa Mexicana is delicious and the tacos were a great pair for it! Definitely coming again ...
